Right, so took way too many photos in Paris to possibly put them all on here, so here's some highlights:

Sacre Cer (obviously not spelt like that, but that's the best I can get on here)Arc de TriumphBy Champs-Elysees. It's famous like Oxford Street but posher.Remember that post I did on love padlocks? Well I found some on a bridge! I got just a little bit excited...Cuteness!
Notre DameMore cuteness!Err, I just liked the triangle pattern on the aquarium gates!Unicorn fish!Napoleon's tomb. The coffin thing looked like it was made of chocolate.

Getting to Paris was SUCH a hassle!

• Got the train to Vauxhall to get the Victoria line, went a few stops on that and then one of the trains broke down so the whole line was closed.
  
• Back onto very very very packed overground train from Vauxhall to Waterloo.
• Got on Northern line. Guess what. That line also got shut down.
  
• Went outside, failed to get a taxi so opted for bus which got stuck in roadworks traffic.
  
• We missed our Eurostar train but luckily got a place on the little flip down seats on a another train. Hectic!

Ben & Jerry's Festival was so much fun! Got a bunch of free ice cream, saw farm animals and generally lazed around listening to bands playing =) Love how there were cows everywhere - cows are awesome!
And saw this on the way to the station. Humorous stencils are always good.
Off to Paris tomorrow for a few days with the family. Bring on the croissants!

Went t'pub for lunch today with friends. It's just round the corner from me but we usually go to the Spoons in town, so thought we should try this place out. It was yummy =)

Going to the Ben & Jerry's festival tomorrow - can't wait! Free ice cream, bands playing and a funfair!

Went to Vurm's (real name Catherine. More on that some other time...maybe.) party last night which resulted in a campfire made of a torch and donut bag, and also some late night chinese nomnomnom!

It's happened. Katamund has offed and awayed *sobsob* We all drove to Heathrow at 5 in the morning to see her off (the journey home took over 3 hours due to Matt somehow going the wrong way entirely) I hope she has an amazing time travelling through Europe and Russia before she gets to her Chinesey home for the year. Her blog's here and her friend Steph's blog is here, so I will be looking forward to updates from those!

My Katamund is off on her voyage. Though we have decided to open a shop together so she can spend the year getting inspiraaaation for that =)
Going to see her off at the airport tomorrow so that'll be one big sob-fest ='(

In other news, here is Maxie the parrot! It's hard to get decent photos of him as he's often busy preening, i.e. nibbling, whoever he's sitting on...
