I'm in a rut. An artistic graphicy rut. I've lost any vague enthusiasm I ever had for uni and don't know how to get out of aforementioned rut. Annoying.

Fun with ink blots:


It's based on that psychiatric inkblot test. I made some blots and asked people what they saw in them. Got some great answers! Of course I went and made it completely un-scientific and just doodled all over them =)


And he's just a cute lil bull thing that came out of the process.

So went to a place called Petersham Nurseries for Mother's Day where Mum generally had a great time running around buying plant things whilst me, my brother and Dad plonked ourselves down in the cafe and ate brownies. I think this arrangement worked out OK for everyone.
It is a pretty place though so I took some photos on my phone:









In other news, got told today that we apparently don't have as long as I thought to do our projects. It has to be wrong, right...? I thought we had til the end of May! Oh well, guess I'll just do looooads of completely random stuff in my book and see how it goes, even though I have no idea what to do...

I'm like this! Except replace the kitten with me and the purple with lots of work...nearly exactly the same.

Chinese was great! Though I did manage to fall off my chair and laugh so hard I snorted water out my nose, which was interesting. All whilst being completely sober - I was the designated driver...
My friend Kat bought me this mirror - so cute =)

I just counted. Done 13 double pages. Not quite the whole sketchbook tutor's expecting, but oh well...

Ok, so decided the art block had wasted enough time and gave myself a kick up the backside. I decided that even if it is the wrong stuff to put in my book, at least it's something, right?






Above is an example of my GIMP skills - they really really suck...
And that's me in my lounging-around-the-house outfit!

This sucks. I have no idea what to do in my sketchbook and no motivation to do it anyway, even if I did think up something. Whyyyyyyyyy must only this count for our final grade?!?
And I have a cold.
...At least it's sunny today...
