I've managed to get myself some shifts at the racecourse near me to raise money for freshers' week ;)
Did my first lot of bar work ever today. I felt just a little bit proud of myself when I poured my first pint!

Went to the beeeach today with family, probably the last time I'll get to go for a while. Was lovely and relaxing and look, there was even sand! What a rare occurrence.
Didn't quite work up the balls to go swimming. Paddling was our limit.
And completely unrelated, but look how happy Mr Banreh looks! Awwwwwww =)

Had a weird but nice evening today. Went along to a cream tea event thingy arranged by my little cousin's youth group, so sat munching on scones (yum yum) before going round the back of the converted barn we were in to see ickle baby calves! So cuuuute! At first I thought some were for veal, but turns out they weren't. Phew!
Couldn't get any decent pics of the ones that were only a couple of days old but here's some slightly older ones (which were just as adorable):
They kept licking your hands - awwwwwww!
Came back and found some corgi dogs who were more than happy with all the attention they got:Also dyed my hair. Can't really notice it that much. Cue poserish photo:

I had a little splurge. I couldn't help it. The La Senza company is now £40 richer thanks to me. My purchases are somewhat tamer than Katy Perry's though.

Oh god I LOVE guinea pigs. They're so cuuuuuute!
We donated all our old hutches and runs (We had like 4 of the things for different weather! Our guinea pigs were so spoilt...) to a guinea pig and rabbit shelter the other day. Hope they put it all to good use!

My strange little friend Chloe asked me to draw a T-rex that was annoyed as it didn't know how to use a mobile phone, and also a T-rex drunk on rum...
It was nice to draw again, haven't been doing it much lately.

I went for my first bit of uni shopping today. It involved getting excited about matching cutlery, deciding that I definitely NEEDED a sandwich toaster and buying a squishy dinosaur cushion (I drew a line at the dinosaur duvet cover set, though it was tempting).

Ok, so whilst on holiday we drove past this junky shop and this beauuuutiful swan...er, pot thing, was in the window:
Swans are one of my particular favourite animals so of course I had to have it. And then today, what else should dearest mother bring me home than another swan pot she found in a charity shop:They're so tacky, they're wonderful! Start of a new collection? Oh I think so.

Ooh, 100th post! Hooray!

Haven't posted for a bit as I've been on holiday in the Peak District, which was lovely-jubly. Preferred it to Paris - more my thing walking around countryside rather than a city. Here's some photos:

There were lots of cows, which of course made me very happy!
Climbed a 1000ft hill.
Pretty village within an old estate. All the houses belonging there had blue pipes and gates, which I thought was cute.
Fed lots of ducks.
Saw a surprised-looking lion.
Found a statue of a drummer bunny.
Cute little cat that lived next to us. Stuck its tongue out a lot.
